Event Project Executive / Assistant Manager

Location: Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Assist the Project Manager and where necessary, take charge of exhibition registration projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks while upholding the highest quality standards. Collaborate with clients to comprehend their needs and deliver customized solutions.

  2. On-Site Management: Oversee all aspects of on-site exhibition logistics, including manpower coordination, resource allocation, and event execution. Ensure smooth operations covering logistics, materials, equipment, and site setup.

  3. Event Staff Management: Directly manage event temp staff duties and performance, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met throughout events.

  4. Reporting & Analysis: Compile comprehensive exhibition-related data and on-site reports. Monitor and follow up on the development of online platforms, including websites and mini-programs.

  5. Client Relationship Management: Nurture strong relationships with clients through daily interactions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with different team leads and managers to accomplish additional tasks and projects as assigned.

  7. Marketing & Administration: Support marketing initiatives and handle administrative tasks related to event preparation and execution. Procure, manage, and dispose of event equipment and materials efficiently.

  8. Flexibility in Duties: Embrace additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: University degree or higher in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in event management, with proven experience in trade shows or large-scale events being highly advantageous.

  3. Attributes: Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

  4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong management and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

  5. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  6. Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

  7. Career Path: Candidates with more experience may be considered for the role of Assistant / Event Project Manager.

Required Skills:

  1. LinkedIn Profile: A nice LinkedIn profile with over 500+ connections is a must. Have sense about modern social media platforms and social marketing is a must

  2. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  3. Adaptability: Quick learner with a flexible mindset, able to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.

  4. Professionalism: Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.

  5. Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel occasionally to Southeast Asia or Mainland China for events outside of Hong Kong.
