A short story about info Salons

Loads of people ask us about our name. Why Info Salons? Is this something to do with hair? Many of you may not realise that our previous CEO, Jo-Anne Kelleway worked with a French registration company in Paris. The word “salons” in French means Trade Shows. So our name literally means Information Technology for Trade Shows.

Info Salons was founded in 1990 and office setup located in Sydney.

2006

Active in the region with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Market leader in 2009 serving leading organisers: Informa Markets, Informa Connect, DMG, DWTC, Messe Frankfurt, Tarsus, Reed Exhibitions.

2018

Freeman acquired Info Salons in spring 2018, further increasing support to our clients worldwide.

2019

Freeman acquired CDS further expanding registration services globally.

2022

GRS acquired Info Salons MENA office in May 2022 expanding Info Salons arm in data analytics and research.
