A short story about info Salons

Loads of people ask us about our name. Why Info Salons? Is this something to do with hair? Many of you may not realise that our previous CEO, Jo-Anne Kelleway worked with a French registration company in Paris. The word “salons” in French means Trade Shows. So our name literally means Information Technology for Trade Shows.

Based in Hong Kong, Roxanne is a founding member of Info Salons with 16 years of dedicated experience in the exhibition industry. Bringing a global outlook and deep expertise, she has successfully led numerous large-scale domestic and international projects, fostering strong collaborations with key stakeholders across diverse exhibition sectors worldwide.

With the exhibition industry evolving rapidly, Roxanne focuses on leveraging advanced data management solutions and integrating online and offline operations to meet escalating market demands. Committed to understanding clients’ core needs, she champions win-win partnerships that drive innovation and growth, helping to shape the future of the exhibition landscape.

Alan is a seasoned member of the Info Salons Senior Management Team, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the IT and Events Industry. Throughout his distinguished career, he has collaborated with multinational organizations across Australia, the USA, and Germany, developing extensive proficiency in general management, consulting, marketing, product management, and SaaS solutions.

As an industry leader, Alan leverages his deep knowledge of the Events Industry vertical to provide strategic consultation for Venues, Organisers, and registration systems, including comprehensive onsite services. His commitment to industry advancement is evidenced by his former role as an EXCO member of the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Industry Association, and his current position as a Digitalisation Subject Instructor for the prestigious UFI-Venue Management School.
